This Sunday is the 21st anniversary of the horrific crime known as 911. On September 11th 2001, Americans witnessed the two tallest buildings located in downtown New York City apparently slammed by 767 passenger jets, then crumble to the ground at almost free-fall speed, almost right into their own footprints. Some learned that a third building, World Trace Center #7, also collapsed more conventionally into its own footprint at free-fall speed, though it was not hit by any plane. The story further showed Americans that a third plane impacted the outer wall of the Pentagon, blasting through the many layers of reinforced concrete walls to poke a large hole in the innermost wall, though no one saw any photographs or videos of any plane at the scene—unusual given the extensive surveillance systems that surround the Pentagon. Still a fourth plane was said to have crash landed in the countryside near Shankesville Pennsylvania, though again the usual debris cascade evident at all other such plane crash sites was never displayed.
