Scottish Games Festival - White Supremacy!
Today I went to a Scottish Games Festival at a big park. I was intrigued to see that may booths were set up by various Clans, showing their coat of arms or crest that symbolized each Clan. This Clan was further made up of Families.
This map showed the complexity of Clan territories in Scotland. Around the edges are shields with Clan crests. Clans were either in feuds or alliances, in a complex history of often-shifting dynamics. The greatest part of anyone’s identity was their Clan, with next being their Tribe (which would be Scottish). Clan was central to identity especially in their alliance or feud with other Clans, and Tribe became more important when most of Scotland was roused to protect itself, such as in times of British intrusion. Race (Whites) most likely played little influence on identity, and Individual was a remote influence on identity. Today, we are being herded out of these pillars of identity toward a Species identity at one end (the Global Citizen, member of the homogeneous Human Family), and the Individual at the other (consumer choices, job description, even gender choice). The Scots knew who they were and who their ancestors and descendants were and will be as well. I was glad to see some of this Clan and Tribal identity preserved and maintained at the Clan booths.
The Scottish culture bred their own distinct breeds of dogs, to perform different functions. This was a form of eugenics app[lied to domestic animals. Irish Wolfhounds were shepherd dogs and also were used to deter wolves. Scottish terriers could dig after badgers and catch rodents that might damage Scottish gardens and farm fields.
The dress code was very high. Traditional dress included kilts for men, and longer skirts and gowns for women. The classic plaid weave in bright colors was prevalent, and decorative belts, stockings and even shoes prevailed. The clean, elegant and fine look of these garments puts today’s “fashions” promoted by Jewish designers to shame (Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, etc.).
Pipe and Drum Corps and/or Pipe Bands had a friendly competition. The sound of dozens of bagpipes wailing and drums rapping and thumping is rousine. To see them in their fine uniforms marching in disciplined ranks was awesome. I do believe Pipe and Drum Corps accompanied military units, though not into battle of course.
(I want to embed a video here, but don’t understand the process. If anyone can advise me, I’d appreciate it. I am using Linux and Ubuntu, trying to get video off my phone and onto this page. Confounding.)
I also watched the Scottish Games competition, where people, both men and women (the Scots are very clear on which is which) hefted long wooden poles and tried to hurl them end over end. It looked hard and technique was as important as strength.
(I have another video, but can’t figure out how to post it)
I was inspired to see how much culture, language, tradition and identity remained among the Scots-Americans. This has been under assault for all European-Americans for many decades, and for many, little remains, replaced by consumer nihilism and global Marxist citizenship. This display of Scottish culture and identity is no doubt now considered “White Supremacy,” and indeed much of it I perceived to be supreme. Supremely beautiful, meaningful, and proud.
Next weekend is an Irish festival, and I am going to go and trace my Irish Clan identity further. Proud to be Irish!, among the world’s Whitest people. I heard someone say from the stage that there is more red hair in Scotland than Ireland. Yes, but there’s more freckles in Ireland. Everything is a competition, yet a friendly one. This was a beautiful and wonderful event to see and hear—and taste too, I had bangers and mash which means sausage and mashed potatoes.
Hail Scots, White Supremacists Supreme!
